Personal Technology Intelligence Report
PTIR is an AI-assisted, operated technology publication focused on useful software, open source, AI, Linux, cybersecurity, development, professional learning, noteworthy resources, and time-sensitive opportunities.
PTIR is published by paco.io as an operated publication. It is not presented as Francisco I. Rodríguez’s personally authored Blog; Francisco defines the purpose and editorial priorities while the reports are produced through an AI-assisted editorial workflow.

Editorial identity
New PTIR editions use explicit operated-publication metadata:
publication: PTIR
series: PTIR
content_type: operated-publication
ai_assisted: true
editorial_mode: operated
Historical editions preserve their original front matter. The archive recognizes publication: PTIR, series: PTIR, and the one legacy PTIR category so migration does not rewrite the historical record merely to satisfy a new taxonomy.
When an edition summarizes outside reporting or an offer, it should identify and link to the original source. Direct quotations should remain minimal; PTIR’s value is selection, verification, synthesis, and context.
Historical continuity
Historical editions retain their original publication dates and familiar permalink paths after migration from paco.org. The former paco.org URLs will redirect to the corresponding paco.io editions after production verification so bookmarks and inbound links continue to work.
